Alaska Executive Search is seeking a General Manager, Mechanical Division for one of our clients. 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Has responsibilities for the overall management of the mechanical divisions, ensuring that all employees meet or exceed established guidelines set for the standard performance.
  • Provides ongoing support and project completion goals, operational goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
  • Actively follow all safety procedures and the Safety Policy of the organization
  • Actively seek to improve overall efficiency and productivity of the entire organization. 
  • Actively attend and selectively participate in technical societies. Attend technical seminars and represent the organization to promote company image and to improve technical skills.
  • Improve/upgrade professional registrations and skills as required. 
  • Advise/assist in negotiations of all major sales/profit goals, which the companies establish
  • Set and establish, in cooperation with the Chief Operations Officer, the services the companies will provide and the corresponding price structure. 

Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 15 years experience in management including the construction/manufacturing industry.
  • Background and supervisory/management experience in project management and HVAC industry .
  • SOA Mechanical Administrator license /MOA Certificate of Contractor Qualification
  • Ability to drive or travel to locations, physically observe operations, listen and actively participate in the communication with employees, customers and the public. 
  • Able to identify and prioritize financial, operational and personnel problem areas and the ability to solve problems and execute policies and procedures through a management team.
