Our client is seeking a comptroller to provide financial leadership, support and guidance to their high-energy business.   The ideal candidate will be adept at planning, financial analysis, forecasting and able to work closely supporting the executive management team. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Accounting Department Staff (5)
  • Maintain accounting records
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements monthly, quarterly and annually
  • Liaise with external CPA firms for tax and review services
  • Administration of various insurance policies
  • Oversight of AR, AP, Payroll and 401k
  • Liaise with company banking partners
  • Maintain accurate fixed asset listing and depreciation schedules
  • Prepare cash flow projections monthly and as required
  • Prepare detailed annual budgets, reporting regularly on actual performance
  • Perform financial analyses as required
  • Design, refine and implement policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments and managers
  • Other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications:
  • CPA designation preferred
  • ESOP experience preferred
  • Five years’ experience in professional level accounting
  • Prior supervisory experience required
  • Manufacturing cost experience required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to present clearly to the executive team
  • Strong technical skills in Excel and various accounting software
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, identify and implement best practices
  • Be a positive team player, punctual and dependable
